Well, it's happened again, just when we thought 2022 would be better than the previous two topsy-turvy years, Covid has reared its disruptive head.
Covid has ripped through my class with students either testing positive or having to isolate because someone in their household has tested positive. Covid also paid a visit to my whare, but my husband was the only one to be given a wide berth.
With the reduced student numbers and the number of staff isolating, we had to combine classes to make it work.
In finding the silver lining, this was a fantastic opportunity to really get to know my students; their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses.
I haven't quite figured out my inquiry focus, but do know it will be a Reading focus as there is still a significant need in that area.
